Far Far West Weapon Tier List (2026) — All 10 Guns Ranked S to D
Updated weapon rankings after patch V644. Know exactly which guns to level first and which to skip — with DPS stats and upgrade priority.
How Weapons Work in Far Far West
Weapons in Far Far West are split into two categories: Primaries and Sidearms. You equip one of each and can swap between them instantly. Each weapon levels independently through fragments — a currency earned from bounty runs.
The best weapon is not always the one with the highest raw damage. What matters is safe damage uptime, synergy with your spells, and how well it handles the enemy types in your target region.

Tier List: Primary Weapons
S-Tier
Dustwalker Rifle (Lever-Action)
- Highest per-shot damage of any primary
- Excellent range for kiting bosses
- Pairs perfectly with Voodoo Mark for one-shot potential
- Fragment priority: HIGH
Venom Gatling (Minigun)
- Highest sustained DPS in the game once spun up
- Applies passive acid stacks (triggers reactions with Pyro/Electric)
- Spin-up time is the only downside — pre-spin before boss arenas
- Fragment priority: HIGH
A-Tier
Arc Repeater (Automatic Rifle)
- Consistent mid-range damage with electric stacks
- No spin-up, no bolt-action delay — just hold and shoot
- Electric stacks trigger Conduction with Acid spells
- Fragment priority: MEDIUM
Thunderclap Revolver (Heavy Revolver)
- High burst damage per cylinder
- Fast reload with Quick Draw Joker Card
- Satisfying headshot multiplier
- Fragment priority: MEDIUM
Ironclad Shotgun (Pump Shotgun)
- Devastating close range damage
- Knockback pushes enemies out of melee range
- Best paired with Cactus Shield for aggressive play
- Fragment priority: MEDIUM
B-Tier
Dual Revolvers (Akimbo)
- Fast fire rate, decent DPS
- No ADS (aim down sights) — hip fire only
- Great for speedrun builds, falls off at higher difficulties
- Fragment priority: LOW
Frontier Carbine (Semi-Auto Rifle)
- Jack of all trades, master of none
- Decent at all ranges but excels at nothing
- Good starter weapon, replace once you unlock S-tier options
- Fragment priority: LOW

Tier List: Sidearms
S-Tier
Sawed-Off Shotgun
- Emergency burst damage at close range
- Two shots then reload — but those two shots hit hard
- Best sidearm for "oh no they are too close" moments
Spark Pistol
- Applies electric stacks rapidly
- Pairs with Arc Repeater for double electric application
- Fast swap speed makes it ideal for reaction setups
A-Tier
Peacekeeper Revolver
- Reliable backup with good range
- Solid headshot damage
- No special gimmick but no weakness either
Derringer
- Fastest draw speed in the game
- Low damage but fires instantly after swap
- Pairs with Quick Draw Joker Card for near-instant burst
B-Tier
Holdout Pistol
- Basic starter sidearm
- Replace as soon as possible

Fragment Priority Guide
Fragments are limited, especially early on. Here is the optimal spending order:
- Level your primary to rank 3 — This unlocks the weapon's passive ability (acid stacks, electric chains, etc.)
- Level your sidearm to rank 2 — Unlocks faster swap speed
- Push primary to rank 5 — Massive DPS increase at rank 5
- Level a second primary to rank 3 — For bounties where your main weapon is weak
Do NOT spread fragments across many weapons. A rank 5 weapon vastly outperforms three rank 2 weapons.

Weapon Tips
- Pre-spin the Gatling before entering boss arenas. Hold aim without firing to spin up, then release into the boss at full fire rate.
- Lever-action rifles reward precision. Headshots deal 2.5x damage — aim for glowing weak points on bosses.
- Shotguns have damage falloff starting at 8 meters. Close the gap before firing.
- In co-op, coordinate weapon types. One player on long-range (Dustwalker), one on sustained DPS (Gatling), one on close-range (Shotgun) covers all scenarios.
- Check region resistances before picking your loadout. Some maps have enemies resistant to specific damage types.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Should I level all weapons equally?
A: No. Focus on one primary to rank 5 first. A maxed weapon is exponentially better than multiple half-leveled ones.
Q: Which weapon is best for solo play?
A: Dustwalker Rifle for its range and burst damage. You can kite bosses safely without taking hits.
Q: Do weapons have hidden stats?
A: Yes — each weapon has a hidden "stagger" value that determines how often enemies flinch. Shotguns and heavy revolvers have the highest stagger.
