Okay, quick tutorial on how to make the ultimate AFK farm in Far Far West. This setup gets you 1,000 souls and 2,000 gold every hour while you literally just stand still. Add the 20% bonus jokers and that bumps up to 1,200 souls and 2,400 gold per hour. Let's get into it.

What You'll Get Per Hour

The gold cap on extraction is 2,000, so even though you'll generate more than 3,000 gold during the run, only 2,000 comes home with you. Souls have no cap.

Required Loadout

Weapon: Mino (Mines)

You need the Mino — that's the whole farm engine. Enemies walk into the mines and die. You don't shoot anything.

Joker Setup

The main jokers you need:

Soul Siphon × 2 — both slots, this is what makes souls scale
Rage Joker — the one shown in the loadout above
Golden Tooth — gold after every kill, stack these on the gun

Soul Siphon is the most important — running two copies is non-negotiable. Golden Tooth turns every kill into gold income, which is why this farm doubles as a money printer.

The Trick: Nightmare Tutorial Glitch

This is the secret sauce. We're going to run the tutorial map on nightmare difficulty, which spawns way more enemies and makes the AFK loop actually viable.

How to Trigger It

Load into a nightmare game — any nightmare map
Quit while you're on the train (before you actually reach the map)
Start the tutorial — it'll now load as a nightmare map

Now the tutorial has nightmare difficulty: stronger enemies, way more of them. That's exactly what we want.

Step-by-Step Setup

Step 1: Clear the Tutorial First

You have to actually play through the tutorial first. Just do everything it tells you to do — kill the targets, follow the prompts. Takes about 3 minutes.

Step 2: Find the Bomb Factory Spot

The AFK position is right next to the bomb factory. This is the corner that makes the whole farm work.

Step 3: Spawn and Kill the Boss

Before AFKing, you need to:

Spawn the boss
Kill the boss
Activate the bell

Critical: If you don't activate the bell, you'll only get around 600 souls per hour instead of 1,000+. Don't skip this step.

Step 4: Stand in the Corner, Drop Mines

Once the bell is active, walk to the specific corner near the bomb factory and place mines under your feet. That's it.

I don't know why you can't die here — maybe it's intentional, maybe it's a bug. But while you're standing in this exact corner (the whole area, actually), enemies can't kill you. Crypts run at you, hit the mines, die, and you auto-pickup the souls.

Performance Warning

This farm is brutal on your hardware. Hundreds of enemies funneling into the mines means insane particle effects.

Tip	Why
Drop graphics to lowest	Frame drops to 15 FPS otherwise
Close background apps	CPU and GPU get hammered
Don't worry about FPS	You're AFK — performance doesn't affect souls/gold

I ended up at 15 FPS by the end of the hour. Doesn't matter — the game still counts kills and drops loot regardless of how it looks on your screen.

After 1 Hour

After running this for exactly an hour, my numbers were:

1,020+ souls picked up automatically
3,000+ gold earned (capped to 2,000 on extraction)
+1,750 nightmare XP (because the tutorial counts as a nightmare map)

With 20% bonus jokers it scales to 1,200 souls and 2,400 gold per hour.

When to Extract

You can extract whenever you want. Since the tutorial counts as a nightmare map, you also bank the 1,750 XP for completing it. Extract, take your loot, and either run it again or move on.

Why This Works

This is honestly the craziest farm in the game right now:

Zero input required after setup
No risk — the corner makes you invincible
Nightmare XP bonus as a kicker
Pure passive income — 2,000 gold per hour while you do literally anything else
