Full breakdown of Far Far West Update 3: Quad Cylinder gets +90% accuracy and becomes a laser beam, Rampage and Mind Shot reworked, Destroyer can stack to 2, Slingers nerfed by 33%, and progression XP doubled.

The new update for Far Far West gave us another Quad Cylinder buff — and this time it's massive. Along with that, we got huge Joker reworks, enemy nerfs, and one spell change. Let's break it all down.


Quad Cylinder — Now a Laser Beam

The Quad Cylinder just became the most accurate weapon in the game:

New upgrade Accuracy now available as an upgrade slot option

With the accuracy upgrade slot now available, you can make this thing a perfect laser beam. Combined with the Homing Burst changes from last patch, the Quad Cylinder is firmly the meta primary right now.


Joker Changes — The Big Ones

There are a LOT of Joker changes. Here's every single one:

Magic Friendship AoE increased 15m → 20m Bigger support radius

Major Reworks

Quad Cylinder Unique Jokers

Aiming Burst Perfect accuracy while ADS, no slowdown, +30% weak spot damage, piercing bullets while ADS
Homing Burst First + last shot fire 5 homing bullets. Every 6 bullets fired, shoot 1 homing bullet at nearby enemies

The Homing Burst change is a subtle but significant upgrade — now you get a bonus homing bullet every 6 shots on top of the first/last magazine proc. More consistent homing damage during mag dumps.


Other Joker Changes

Bees Attack duration 8s → 6s, base damage 4 → 2 (they hit a lot, so this is fair)

Enemy Changes — Nerfs Incoming

The devs pulled back on some of the aggression from last patch:

Cryptic Slinger (Very Hard+) Damage lowered by 33%, projectile speed lowered by 25%
Cryptic Elites HP lowered by 20%
Cryptic Horseman HP buffed to match Elite HP

The Slinger nerf is welcome — they were doing 20 damage with fast straight-line shots after last patch, which was punishing. Now they're more manageable while still being a threat.

Elites getting a 20% HP reduction feels unnecessary honestly — they were already pretty easy to kill. But hey, the Horseman HP buff to match Elites makes sense thematically.


Progression Change

My Take

This is a good update. The Quad Cylinder is becoming the best primary in the game with each passing patch. The Joker reworks (especially Rampage and Mind Shot) make previously useless cards actually worth considering. The Slinger nerf was needed after last patch went too hard on them.
